The Responsible Technology Adoption Unit (RTA) led the Government’s work to enable trustworthy innovation using data and artificial intelligence (AI) as part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

The RTA used its blog to share regular updates about its work. It published articles on a range of issues relating to data and AI, such as the use of algorithms in the content moderation process, and the role of data intermediaries and privacy enhancing technologies in supporting trustworthy access to and sharing of data. The blog is no longer being updated.
